Start-up Business E Loans

On February 21, 2006, America's First People-to-People Lending Marketplace, Prosper was announced. An ''eBay for Credit'' for small Loans, the site currently has 20 loan opportunities, ranging from $1,500 to $25,000.

Founders are Chris Larsen, co-founder of E-LOAN, and John Witchel, technologist and entrepreneur.
