Virginia's first online gaming club, Cyberwocky, opened recently in Newport News.
In mid-October, Nielsen Media Research announced an electronic rating service to track who is playing what game. The data will be collected from the same 10,000 sample households used for Nielsen's television ratings.
UPDATE: According to Wired, the "much beloved sci-fi series Firefly will soon make an unexpected return, not as a TV show, but as a massively multiplayer online game" from Multiverse.
