Tired Web History

Thanks to WSJ syndication and a post on Orange Cone.

A San Francisco social scientist and web designer, Mike Kuniavsky, bought the Web address, tired.com, in 1997. He posted a brief message on the Web site as a placeholder: "Are you tired? Tell us why." Clicking on "us" sent visitors to a blank email form addressed to tired@tired.com, which was forwarded to Kuniavsky's email. The submissions were never to be published online. By 2000, the unmodified site was eliciting about 24 responses a day; now Kuniavsky receives about 8 responses per day. The site remains unchanged since 1997.

Kuniavsky's current blog is Orange Cone. His current project is ThingM.
