SL Book Signing in Caledon
InfoIsland. Author Al Perrin (Benjamin Helios) will be at the SL Main Library, Information Island, on 2/10/07 at 9 AM PST to sign his book The Sloop John B. He will be “wearing” several different avatars during a short presentation in which each of the main characters in his book will come to life, and talk about the story from their own particular viewpoint. Sponsored by the Caledon Branch Library.
This is a unique event for Second Life, and for the publishing world as well. All aspects of the publishing process are now completely online – including the readers.
Real life publisher Angela Hoy will also attend. She is an online book publisher (not a vanity press) which provides e-book, and print on demand services for qualified authors.
