Reddit in Town

Alexis Ohanian and Steve Huffman, co-founders of Reddit.com, will be speaking on The Startup Life tonight at UVA McIntire.
A tiny Somerville-based online news aggregator that started a year ago with $12,000 in seed funding is gaining visitors and being favorably compared to one of the web's top 200 sites. [...] California-based Digg, ranked No. 166 on the web out of the 18 million known sites, operates with 15 employees and $2.8 million in venture capital. By comparison, Reddit is operated by three full-time workers and a part-time graduate student in a three-bedroom apartment in Davis Square.
