Virginia Business Magazine has summarized the factors contributing to Virginia's top rankings in recent evaluations of the business environments of the states. According to Garry Kranz, "Since 2003, Virginia consistently has outperformed the national average in employment growth." This article focuses on Virginia's R&D and employment incentives, as well as the emerging investment in the Virginia work force.
Good examples are the recent announcement of the six year research partnership between The National Institute of Aerospace in Hampton and Airbus North America.
