Two new services produce transcripts of voicemail, and send it to your email or mobile device.
Simulscribe and Spinvox. According to David Pogue, both services allow one to search the text messages, and escape the endless voicemail instructions. And both retain the original voicemail.

Ive been using spinvox for a little while now and it is truly a time saving tool. I get back to the people I need to faster..I update my blog with their spin-my-blog..and I give myself reminders with their spin-my-note. This is a service that I would recomend to anyone.
